Essential Oil Black Agate and Sardonyx Fairy 18 inch necklace

Black Agate is a rock consisting of cryptocrystalline silica, mostly chalcedony, alternating with microgranular quartz. The stone was given its name by Theophrastus a Greek philosopher who discovered the stone along the shoreline of the river Achates in Sicily. 

Black agate is known for Courage, Grounding and Balance. Agate can bring harmony to  positive and negative forces. 

Sardonyx combines alternating layers of sard and onyx-two types of layered mineral chalcedony to create bands. 

Sardonyx is a stone of Strength and Protection. It helps to stay grounded, confident, and hopeful. Sardonyx was believed to be one of the twelve Biblical Foundation stones listed in Revelations XXI. Each of the Sardonyx stones were said to be carved with the names of one of the Apostles. Sardonyx can be traced back thousands of years in ancient Egypt. The ancient Rome cameos of Venus the Goddess of Love were made of Sardonyx. Roman soldiers often wore sardonyx rings carved with images of Mars, The God of War as a means of Protection.

The necklace is crafted from Black agate coins, 6mm Sardonyx beads and a Fairy essential oil/perfume pendant.  It is 18 inches.
