Benefits of Cayenne pepper

Cayenne Peppers contains capsaicin. Which offers many health benefits including pain relief, improved athletic performance and lower blood sugar levels. Capsaicin has anti inflammatory and antioxidants.

Cayenne pepper can be used in home remedies for coughs, congestion and combatting colds. It has been known to relieve cold symptoms by shrinking dilated blood vessels in the nose and throat.

Cayenne pepper is rich in vitamins A and C. Vitamin A is essential for the immune system, for vision, reproduction, growth and development and bone health.

A cayenne compress (take a paper towel drizzle olive oil on it and sprinkle cayenne pepper on it) can be used to help with numbing in the feet. It increases blood flow to the area.
